About Us
Marsh and Riddell was formed in November 2015, by Kevin & Kieran following redundancy when a nation practice of surveyors pulled out of the Scotland. The firm has grown steadily over the years and we are now a practice, as of 2023, of 12 strong, with ambitions to grow the practice further. The practice is multi-disciplinary where we provide Architectural Design Servies and a range of Project Management, Quantity Surveyor, Building Surveying, Energy Assessment Services, etc. Click on our Services pages to find out the full range of services we provide. Kevin Marsh, Director
“As a Director since November 2015, I manage day-to-day business operations alongside Kieran. With roots dating back to a Modern Apprenticeship in 1995, I've cultivated my expertise, becoming Chartered with RICS in 2008. Our practice's growth from three staff to eleven in eight years is a testament to our dedication. The diverse work, from small house extensions to multi-million pound civil projects, makes every day unique. Marsh and Riddell's allure lies in the dynamic projects and the camaraderie within the team. When not overseeing projects, I find joy in the banter, spearheaded by the office jester, Eric. Piri Piri Chicken is my culinary favorite, and my free time involves volunteering for community activities and outdoor adventures.”

“As Director, overseeing building surveying, asbestos surveying, and energy assessments since we started in November 2015, my journey with Marsh and Riddell began when Kevin, my former manager, envisioned a business in the Borders. No day is typical; each brings new challenges and projects. The diversity, camaraderie, and laughter in the team define the Marsh and Riddell experience. Anything Italian is my meal preference, and my free time involves helping out my kid’s football team. Goodfellas tops my movie list, and a lunch conversation with George best or Maradona would be good fun!”
